Hotdesk Patrol
find a desk. avoid HR.
A one-screen office survival game about finding a desk, looking productive and staying out of HR's way.

01_incident-report.txt
Hotdesk Patrol is a top-down arcade score-survival game set in an absurdly overcrowded office. Every chair is occupied, unavailable or suddenly worth crossing half the room for.
There is no grand career arc here. There is one office, one run and a very immediate need to look like you belong.

Move with the arrow keys, find an available desk and press E to sit down. Sitting restores productivity and awards points when the desk cycle is complete.
Standing around is not a strategy. Productivity drains whenever you are on your feet, so every route through the office is a small timing decision.

HR patrols the office and notices people who are walking where they should probably be working. Getting caught adds a warning. Running out of productivity does too.
Three warnings end the run. The policy is strict. The office is not sorry.

Seats are the main score, but they are not all equally convenient. Some are farther away, some are worth more and collectibles tempt you into taking a detour when you should be finding somewhere to sit.
The useful question is never just where the next chair is. It is whether you can reach it before HR, productivity or both make the decision for you.
05_no-promotion.txt
There is no promotion waiting at the end. The run ends on the third warning, then you start again and try to leave with a score that makes the previous disaster look like onboarding.
